Spring Purdue Graduation Pictures at Main Campus in West Lafayette, IN.

Every spring the Purdue University campus bursts into bloom.  The excitement of graduation is in the air.  All the semesters of hard work and dedication have paid off.  It is time for graduation!

Having pictures taken is a great way to celebrate this milestone.  You have accomplished your dream of earning your Purdue degree and now is the time to document this achievement.

When should Purdue cap and gown graduation pictures be scheduled?

I recommend having spring Purdue graduation pictures taken before actual graduation weekends.

On graduation weekends campus is packed and it is impossible to get pictures without a lot of photo bombers!

Bring the cap and gown to include in the pictures!

You will want to get some pictures with both your cap and gown and some without.

3 Tips for Great Spring Purdue Graduation Pictures:

  1. Schedule your session for a time during the few weeks leading up to graduation weekend.

Having pictures taken on actual graduation day is not a good idea.  The campus is crowded and the iconic spots will be full of people.  However, if you are wanting to get family pictures taken on graduation day, that is different.  We can find a spot on campus to take family pictures.  Your family will be together to celebrate with you and this can be a fabulous time to have updated family pictures taken.

  2. Bring your cap and gown but also dress nicely for some pictures without your cap and gown.

We will take a variety of pictures and poses.  This can also be a good time to get a few updated “headshots”.

  3. Be prepared to walk around the Purdue Campus to get pictures in your favorite spots.

You don't have to just have your photos taken in the traditional iconic spots.  You might want pictures taken in places on campus that are special to you.

Andi’s Spring Purdue Graduation Pictures

Andi is graduating with a degree in Human Service from the Department of Human Development and Family Science.  Fun fact- I graduated just a *few* years ago with this SAME degree!!  Only back then it was called “Individual and Family Development”.

Oh my goodness, Andi is a hard worker!  This semester she has not only taken 16 credits of classes, but she also holds down a part-time job as well as fulfilling an internship at a local middle school!  Whew!

Andi has accepted a job in education and is enrolling to start her Master's Degree.  Andi is a difference maker and will make an impact on all the students at her school.  I have no doubt she will live out a life of purpose and make a positive change in the world around her.

Andi met me at the iconic Purdue fountain on a beautiful April spring morning!  The trees were in full bloom and the sun was shining. The campus was quiet and Andi was ready with her cap and gown.

We ended her session with a fun champagne spray!

And finally- WOW- is Andi STUNNING! She was so fun and so comfortable in front of the camera. This Spring Purdue Graduation Photo session just couldn’t have gone better. Cheers, Andi, to your Purdue University graduation!
