Rural Indiana Summer Engagement Pictures | TJ and Destiny
TJ and Destiny chose to have their rural Indiana summer engagement pictures taken at their family property outside of Lafayette, Indiana.
When the family owns a gorgeous property like this there left no question for TJ and Destiny as to what location they thought would be best for their engagement photos.
Choosing outfits for engagement pictures-
Destiny did a fabulous job selecting their outfits. For engagement pictures, it is really nice to have at least two outfits.
Dressing up for these special pictures is always nice! Choosing a dress for at least one of the outfits is recommended.
Solid-color button-down shirts and pants are classy choices for the guys.
The second set of outfits can be more casual.
Choosing outfits that represent your own style will make you feel more comfortable.
During TJ and Destiny’s engagement photo session, we worked our way around this beautiful family property taking a variety of posed and interactive pictures. I think that having a blend of traditional poses with movement and interaction photo prompts is a good way to get authentic smiles and emotions.
This property also is home to a fabulous historic barn! Nothing says “Rural Indiana” like a beautiful red barn! I can’t think of a better background for a dip kiss!
Engagement pictures are all about celebrating this special time as a couple while they are preparing for their big wedding day! Engagement pictures celebrate the love and joy that they have for and with each other.
Engagement photo sessions are also a good way to practice getting your picture taken so that on the wedding day picture time goes very smooth and fast! Engagement sessions can be more relaxed and go at a slower pace. Wedding day picture taking is under a strict timeline. It is very helpful for the wedding day to have already practiced the poses with engagement pictures.
