Clay and Amanda became Husband and Wife on the beautiful summer day of June 24th, 2023. Their beautiful summer wedding was at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel Indiana. They chose an outdoor ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. After the ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail hour before entering the grand Hotel Carmichael ballroom for a night of celebration at the reception.

Clay and Amanda met through friends at a party and quickly realized they were meant for more. It wasn’t long into their relationship that they each knew they had found “their person”. They soon began dreaming of the day that they would become Mr. and Mrs.

Clay and Amanda planned so many special details for their wedding day. They wanted to spend their day with their closest friends and family.

Clay and Amanda’s wedding day at Hotel Carmichael was beautiful in every detail. Sharp navy tuxes, pink peonies, grand floral table arrangements, and pink bridesmaid dresses created a classic and elegant backdrop for their celebration.

After the formal ceremony, Clay and Amanda took a few moments to share personal private vows. They desired a quiet moment for just the two of them to pledge their lifelong love. All the emotions of the groom, as the bride walked down the aisle, melted everyone’s heart!

Heartfelt toasts after dinner kicked off the reception.

Clay and Amanda then took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. They floated across the floor to Elvis Presley singing “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.
Amanda shared a dance with her Father and then Clay had two special dances- with his mom and his stepmom.
The dance floor opened up with the Anniversary dance. Married couples filled the floor as the party got started.

A few songs in Clay and Amanda brought out their surprise gifts for their guests- light-up cowboy hats and glow sticks! The Dance floor was alive and full of celebration.

From the getting ready hours through the end of the reception, Clay and Amanda’s Wedding Day was filled with joy! It was a day enjoyed by their closest friends and their families.

It was an honor to capture their wedding day with pictures- to preserve time for them. As the years go by may they enjoy looking through their wedding pictures reaffirming the vows and love of their incredible day.

On a personal note- this was an extra special wedding for me- Clay is my husband’s nephew. Clay’s mom and I were pregnant at the same time. Our oldest boys are only 5 weeks apart. It was a special joy for me to capture Clay’s wedding day!
