Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, TJ and Destiny became husband and wife with a beautiful Gathering Acres wedding in Lafayette, Indiana.

I am incredibly honored that TJ and Destiny trusted me to be their wedding photographer, and I’m so excited to share their beautiful Wine and Navy Blue Classic Wedding.

Mr. And Mrs. McFadden celebrated their marriage with a wedding at Gathering Acres Lafayette, Indiana.

Wanting an outdoor wedding and a venue that expertly handles and takes care of every last detail, Destiny and TJ decided to have their big day at Gathering Acres in Lafayette, Indiana. The Gathering Acres is a large venue that offers climate-controlled reception seating for up to 299 guests. When you book a wedding at Gathering Acres you know that every last detail will be taken care of, making for a stress-free wedding day!

We were all very thankful for the wonderful air-conditioned Gathering Acres. We were able to take all pre-ceremony pictures inside, helping to keep everyone as cool as possible before the wedding ceremony.

Tj and Destiny chose to share a “First Touch” with each other at the iconic Gathering Acres’ large sliding barn doors. They wanted the chance to talk to each other and share some special moments but waited to lay eyes on one another until the ceremony. A First Touch gives couples a sweet chance to connect and share a tender moment together.

TJ and Destiny were surrounded by so much love and joy. There were so many happy tears shed throughout their special day. Many special moments were shared with family and friends.

A few clouds rolled, and with a gentle breeze, the temperatures cooled off just a bit right in time for Destiny and TJ to become Husband and Wife in their beautiful outdoor ceremony.

The pond, bridge and fountains provided a beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures. Destiny’s dress was stunning and Tj’s navy blue tux looked so sharp. Destiny was a very beautiful bride and TJ was a very handsome groom.

After family pictures, bridal party photos, and bride and groom portraits, Mr. And Mrs. McFadden entered their wine and navy blue decorated reception to celebrate their marriage with their closest family and friends.

Mr. And Mrs. McFadden took to the dance floor to enjoy their first dance as a married couple. Halfway through their first dance flour petals began to float down from above them! It was so beautiful, so romantic!

When TJ and Destiny planned their reception they prioritized their guests. They opened the dance floor up with an “Anniversary Dance”. The last three couples on the dance floor included TJ’s grandparents and two sets of his great-aunts and Uncles. A very special way to honor marriage is with the Anniversary Dance.

Guests enjoyed the “Shoe Game” and we all learned more about the bride and groom. Lots of laughs by all!

The dance floor was a fun place to be!

As the evening turned into night, we were blessed with a beautiful sunset and the new Husband and Wife were able to sneak out for a few minutes to capture sunset pictures.
